CATrain is a curious rail simulator with which you can design complex rail networks in all directions and in great detail, later putting trains on them.

CATrain isn't the most realistic train simulator, but it is quite entertaining to design train tracks with sidings, traffic lights, turns, stations, etc, and then see how they react with different trains. CATrain is easy to use, and can be downloaded for free.

More than a game as such, CATrain feels like a program for the simulation of train behaviour on complex railway networks. Once the tracks have been created, the train catalogue in CATrain is diverse: steam trains, electric, diesel, etc. You'll also have the ability to save your networks for another time.
